Freudian Tripartite of Huma's Psyche of The Main Character in A Man Called Otto Film

The main purpose of this research is to find out the tripartite psyche role in Otto as the main character in the film A Man Called Otto. This research uses Sigmund Freud's Tripartite Psyche theory to analyse data from Otto's dialogues, actions, expressions, and conversations with other characters during his journey through characterization. The research method used in this thesis is qualitative research and uses a psychological approach. The results of the analysis show that Otto has all the tripartite concepts of Id, Ego, and Superego. The results of this research show that the description of Otto's tripartite psyche experiences conflict between, Id, Ego, and Superego in developing each of his behaviour and the overall conflict that occurs is dominated by Superego.

Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran jiwa tripartite psyche dalam diri Otto sebagai tokoh utama dalam film A Man Called Otto. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Tripartite Psyche Sigmund Freud untuk menganalisis data yang berasal dari dialog, tindakan, ekspresi, dan percakapan Otto dengan karakter lain selama perjalanannya melalui penokohan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan psikologi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Otto memiliki semua konsep tripartite yaitu Id, Ego, dan Superego. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan penggambaran tripartite psyche Otto mengalami konflik antara, Id, Ego, dan Superego dalam mengembangkan setiap perilakunya dan keseluruhan konflik yang terjadi di dominasi oleh Superego.
